THE GREAT GOLD THEFT!!!!

The great gold theft is a collection game where a few greedy robbers make their way through a leprechaun forest to get the pots of gold.

 

Goal: Each robber has to collect as many pots of gold as possible before they reach the finish line.  

How to win: Players must reach the finish line and the one with most gold wins.

Game set-up: The board game is set up by the players. 

Rules: Whenever a player steps on a mine, he/she has to pick up an action card and does exactly what the action card says. This game can be simple or difficult depending on how the players set up the pieces (e.g. the mines are really closely placed, then the players get an extra advantage when the players roll a 6, then the number of gold you have is doubled, e.g. if u have 2, it becomes 4 and if the player rolls a 1, then the number of gold is reduced by 1).

When two or more players land on the same spot, they have to battle.

How do you battle another player?

-rolling the dice and whoever gets the highest number wins

-rock, paper, scissors

The loser has to pick up an action card and obey its instructions.

There are also leprechaun pieces in the game, when a player lands on a tile with a leprechaun piece; he/she gets to choose one of the other players to pretend to be the leprechaun and battle with them. The player chosen for the battle gets to decide if they want to battle it out with rock, paper and scissors or roll the dice. If the player who landed on the leprechaun space wins the battle, then he/she loses nothing and they just continue playing normally. But, if they lose, the player you battled with gets all the gold you so far have and you have to respawn (start from the very beginning).

Since all players have to reach the finish line to determine the winner and some of them may reach the finish line way before the others, if two or more players finish the game first, they can place bets between them for the pots of gold they have collected so far.

The winner of the collection game gets a gold star indicating that he is the chief of the robber’s gang and gets to keep it!
