Galaga Card Game

This card game takes you through the wonders and adventures of space and aliens. It is a great experience for you and your friends.

Number of Players: 2 to 4

Rules Each player starts the game with no cards in their hands and 30 health points. At the start, including the first turn, a player first draws a card and puts it in their hand. A player may have a max of 5 cards in their hand. During their turn a player may play 1 card from their hand and make the decision to attack a player or defend against all incoming damage. Attacking another player does 2 damage to the enemy player. Defending against damage causes the player to take 50% of all incoming damage to themselves for that turn. Cards can be drawn to alter your attack or defense. These cards last 3 turns and is useless after they are played.  When a player’s hull points are depleted the cards in their hand are sent to the bottom of the deck and is shuffled.  The winner is the last man standing.
Types of Cards:
Defense Cards are cards that a player can use to defend themselves against attacks from other players. The defense can give away up to 2 defense points.

Health Cards are cards that players can use to restore health points.

A Weapon Card is a card that can exceed your damage points in order to attack other players.

A Miscellaneous Card varies between getting points and getting damage points.

How we made our Game
We researched about the Galaga card game and then developed an idea for how we can make the card game different. We designed our cards using Photoshop. Each of the cards were then printed, cut, and glued unto a Bristol board. We also designed an image for the back of the cards as well.
